Government Agency/Gram Sabha Registration
The waste management techniques used in ancient India were successful in recycling the household waste effectively. However, those techniques have now become practices of the past in the face of rapid development and ever- increasing urbanization in India, resulting in tons of waste populating in landfills. The poorly managed sewage, chemical, electronic and plastic waste is extremely hazardous for all life forms. Role of government agencies in waste management is indispensable. Effective waste management by the agencies ensures proper cleanliness and healthy environment in an area. Waste Management mainly involves collecting, treating, and disposing of waste material that is discarded because it has served its purpose or is no longer useful.
Different departments of govt. agencies will upload videos demonstrating their exemplary methods of waste segregation and its management.
