RWA REGISTRATION
The waste management techniques used in ancient India were successful in recycling the household waste effectively. However, those techniques have now become practices of the past in the face of rapid development and ever- increasing urbanization in India, resulting in tons of waste populating in landfills. The poorly managed sewage, chemical, electronic and plastic waste is extremely hazardous for all life forms. One of the critical factors attributed to the burgeoning issue of waste management includes lack of public participation in waste management initiatives. Residents Welfare Authorities (RWAs) can act as impressive forerunners to implement waste management programs and efforts by drawing support from the localities and ensuring participation from masses and classes alike. GDA has shouldered this responsibility of organizing a series of events at all levels that will be focused on managing waste and turning it into useful products. GDA takes pride in inviting your association to the ‘Kachra Samadhan Mahotsav - 2018’ and extend your participation to address this social cause and make the event a grand success. You are requested to fill in the details in the form attached.
